Inspired by the Swiss watch manufacturer’s Minerva heritage and the pocket watches produced during the late 19th century, the Montblanc Star Legacy watch collection is home to some of the brand’s highest-end watches outfitted with full manufacture movements. This Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date watch is no exception, delivering classical Swiss watchmaking techniques alongside a stylish aesthetic perfectly fitting for a luxury dress watch.

At its centre, the Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date watch houses the Calibre MB 24.01 automatic winding movement which alongside its innovative flat hairspring provides 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and date aperture at 6 o’clock are beautifully presented on a silvery-white dial detailed with a black railroad minutes track, black Arabic numerals and blue leaf-shaped painted hands. To protect the Swiss manufacture within and provide a water resistant rating of 30 metres, the 39mm stainless steel case is equipped with a non-screw crown decorated with the famous Montblanc star emblem, a polished fixed bezel and domed sapphire crystal glass, a material famed for its scratch resistance and anti-reflective coating.
