IWC has had a long-lasting collaborative effort with the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor Program. Better known as Top Gun, it's a place where young navy aviators are trained in advanced jet fighter training and are pitted in simulated exercises against their instructors. It sounds so cool they should probably make a movie about it.

The IWC you see here is built to represent the fighting spirit installed in these aviators and to provide them with a tool that can be used in combat. Like the technical materials that go into making US Navy Warplanes this watch is made from a highly durable Titanium and Ceramic alloy that combines the benefit of titanium and ceramic. Inside this case is fitted a Rattrapante chronograph capable of tracking the timing of two events simultaneously. However, despite a retail price of over $22,000 NZD, it is likely one of the least expensive pieces of equipment you'll find onboard the aircraft it is designed to fly on.
